We're married!!!!
More details after we get back from our honeymoon!

Two days, everyone. Paul and I are in awe at how fast the time passed. Today, I have been moving all my things into the apartment and buying more food for the reception. Tomorrow, more things will be moved in, the church will be decorated and the rehearsal dinner will take place.
I'm sure you all will understand why we won't be posting on here until after the honeymoon! Look for pictures from the wedding, reception and our trip to Chattanooga some time next week. Yay!
Please pray for Paul, who is battling a cold right now. Up until now, nothing has gotten to me. But this has been the thing to upset me...so pray for faith for me as well. Everyone travel safely and we can't wait to see and talk to you all on Saturday!
Holden Out.

Six days, folks! Can you believe it's already the week of the wedding? We can't either.
There's a few things left to do, nothing hugely major, just things that need to happen that only be taken care of the day before and day of the wedding. I move out of my house on Thursday, take everything to the apartment and then I am staying the night with my family in a hotel on Friday night. I only work through Wednesday this week. Boy, will it be a busy week!
I keep having these ridiculous wedding dreams - being late for the wedding, nothing goes right, I can't find my dress - is this normal? Also, is it normal to have butterflies in your stomach 24/7?
To all of you who are coming this weekend, be safe traveling to the wedding! We can't wait to see you all. To those who have told us you won't be able to make it, we'll miss you and hope to hear from you soon afterwards. Everyone can be sure to drop by the site after the wedding to see the digital photographs documenting the day. And we'll post pics from our sight-seeing trip to Chattanooga, if you're curious!
Well, gotta go. Pray we have a smooth week, that Paul and I remain calm and that everyone has a great time.

Less than three weeks 'til the big day! In an effort to quench the thirst of those curious readers out there, I am posting some pictures of various wedding things. I am posting them as hyperlinks - so those who want to be surprised, don't click the links!
Hair: After two visits, I have made my final decision. Here is the the front of my hair, the hair from the back, the hair with the veil and tiara and the hair from the back.
Details: I have been doing a lot of printing this week, mostly for the favor tags. Sorry for the bad picture, but here are the favor tags. We will tie the tags with blue ribbon to the bubble favors.
Guests, you have to stop by the guestbook table, take a digital photo and sign our guestbook.
And finally, here is a room of the apartment starting to become a mess! This is the pile.
And now, for your visual pleasure, a picture of our new dining room:

It was fun moving all this in, but I think it looks great! I inherited this German Oak table and china hutch from my parents and it makes the apartment seem more like a home now.
That's all for now, have a great week!

New stuff! To the left of this entry, you will see a new sidebar option titled "Hotels." This contains information about - what else? - hotels in the area.
I have indicated which hotel is closest to the church and reception. The rest of the list includes other hotels which are not too far away, just located on the 45 Bypass. I have also listed the rates for your convenience. NOTE: these rates were what I found on expedia.com this week, I don't know if room rates and availability will change the closer the wedding date approaches.
I would also recommend calling the hotel's local number, not the national chain number. We've had issues with that in the past. Local hotel personnel are more knowledgable about their own hotel than national call centers are.
If you have any questions, please call or email. We'll see you all in 32 days!

So today, Paul and I had our last pre-marital session with our pastor, Don Winter. He's a great guy and I'm looking forward to having him marry us on May 28. Along with Paul's grandfather, Paul Weaver.
We're almost at the one month mark. Hard to believe, sometimes. Not much left to do, just a few small details. There will be some updates to the site, including times and locations for the rehearsal and dinner...those who are coming, and you know who you are, be sure to check back for that information.
Also, a list of local hotels and their addresses will be posted for out of town guests. We tried reserving blocks of rooms, but apparently Jackson hotels don't believe in it. Oh well.
We are very excited about our fast approaching day! We hope to see a lot of our friends and family there (although I understand May 28, 2005 is a popular wedding day for some of my friends!)
Please feel free to email us with any questions and please let us know if you are coming! Thanks!
